As bores get deeper the amount of time spent advancing the drill bit gets less and less – primarily due to inefficient wireline trips – typically limited by the rigs mast length, and safety issues.
CoreMAX’S patented technologies maximize core run length via hands free joining and separating of inner tubes.
This enables core run lengths of 6+ meters regardless of mast length or spatial constraints, thereby minimizing time consuming wireline trips (to date we have drilled 9.5 meter core runs – but see no technical reason not to drill even longer core runs)
Core Orientation is not compromised and of course our system also efficiently loads drill rods!
Field data typically shows 30%+ productivity gains in fractured formations.
Productivity gains will amplify further in deeper bores and / or with longer core runs, eliminating thousands of unproductive hours annually.
